Leonetto Cappiello (1875–1942) was an Italian and French poster art designer and painter. He lived and worked primarily in Paris, where he revolutionized the aesthetic of the commercial poster at the turn of the 20th century. Cappiello pioneered a bold, simplified visual language designed for the fast-paced modern world.
